Dear Shweta,
Compass Tours made our trip to India the best that it could be. Out of the six
of us that were traveling, none of us had previously visited your country and
Compass took care of us from the moment we arrived until we left. It gave us
a special look into the caring personality of the Indian people. Before we even
left on the trip, we felt great. Shweta, you worked with us everyday until we
narrowed down a perfect itinerary. We loved being able to have a say on what
type of accommodations we would be in as well as what type of vehicle we'd be
transported in. It worked very well. The guides that you contracted with in
Bikaner, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur were some of the best I've ever met. Not only
were they hospitable and
knowledgeable about their areas, but they took it one step further and invited
us to view some of the culture first hand. In Bikaner, Bihwanas invited us to
his house for dinner and we met his family.
In Jaisalmer, we were also invited to Jintendra's mother's house for tea, and
in Jodhpur, the guide took us to a friend's wedding. On top of that, each guide
was so open about their lives, which are completely different than our American
lives. They talked to us about their religion, their caste, their marriages,
and much, much more.I recommend that anyone who visits India should use Compass
to arrange their trip. The best thing about it is, that I as the customer, made
all the decisions, and Compass did all the hard work!
Thank you so much for such a rich and rewarding experience! I cannot wait
until I have the opportunity to go to India again!

Subject: Re: FEEDBACK
Dear Durjay,
My apology for the
delayed reply.
I've been very busy catching up with my work load as
well as trying to clear my jetlagged head from the long flight home.
The
trip to India and Nepal was so unusual and full of incredible experiences, I
really can't put my impressions in only a few words.
Thanks for
your sincere request on my tour feedback. So I'll give you some of frank
impressions about my India tour you arranged.
* One of the
highlights of my India tour was to visit a Rajput family in Jaipur. Bawani
arranged for this, and I immensely enjoyed talking and experiencing the
Indian family life.
I suggest you should put more family home visits in
your itinerary because we get thrilled to be invited to the real Indian life
style.
Most of all, I thank you for my smooth transition from the
city to city. There were always tour guide, tour manager, the car with the
driver waiting for me and that counted enormously for my peace of mind in a
big foreign land.
I was heartened by your presence at the Delhi
train station at Midnight, waiting for me with a porter.
The train
ride from Delhi to Varanasi was very enjoyable though I couldn't sleep much.
My seat was on the side of the aisle on upper bed, but I sat on the
bottom bunk as I was told, not knowing that seat was taken, but the man gave
it up for me and he disappeared to the other compartment, so I had 2 beds
all to myself.
I was very pleased and relieved to have two men
immediately came into to my compartment as soon as the train arrived at
Varanasi, introducing himself as my tour manger, Jai and the driver.
I
want to especially commend Jai for his kind effort and care for my well
being in Varanasi. He and his driver were always prompt getting back to me
whenever I had inquires. I was not too impressed with the tour guide in
Varanasi though.(I forgot his name).
Jai negotiated for my
overweight suit case with the Varanasi airport ticket counter staff who
insisted I should pay extra money for over weight. Jai skillfully and
patiently talked with them, hence saving me headache and extra money. He
waited with me until my plane departure. I wouldn't forget his kind
thoughtfulness.
* In Agra, I also had wonderful Yogi as my tour
guide. Not only is his English very fluent and but also he was well informed
in many wordly current events. Yogi was an excellent guide who was very
knowledgable about the history of India.
I really appreciate Yogi, and
Suri the driver waiting 2 hrs for the delayed express train from Agra to
Delhi.
* I enjoyed Rajasthan tour very much, and Pool Mahal hotel
in Kishangrh was really charming as well as it's very courteous staff.
*
I was very pleased with Ms. Renuka, my tour guide in Nepal. She was very
eager to help, and provided many useful services.
Hope to see you
when you visit Californis in April, and I may want to use your company again
when I visit S.India and Udaipur, Jaisalmer which I missed at this time.
My best wishes,
Candice, San Francisco, USA

Subject: Compass India
Dear Durjay,
This is my comments on my journey and services. I trust that the "note"
below is acceptable.
Please comment
I wish to thank the Director & staff of Compass India for ensuring that
my very first visit to my motherland India was a most memorable one.
During the course of my journey I had experienced no major problems or difficulties.
Mode of travel, Tours and Hotels were centrally situated. As a result after
official tours for the day, we were able to do some "sightseeing"
on our own, in a safe, friendly atmosphere.
The tour guides were most knowledgeable in the North as well as the West India.
However for tours of South India, namely Tamilnadu, the guides were not as
knowledgeable. However, I would not have changed anything as it was a valuable
learning experience for all involved. I also found that at times when my companian
was unhappy about some arrangement, which we had initially requested, the
arrangement or plans were changed or amended to our satisfaction. We realised
later that this had inconvenienced the director, and were apologetic to him.
The director thankfully is understanding and totally committed to ensuring
that all clients visiting India and utilising Compass services are satisfied.
Sadly, my journey had to end. It just seemed to me that it was too soon. plans
were changed or amended to our satisfaction. We realised later that this had
inconvenienced the director, and were apologetic to him. The director thankfully
is understanding and totally committed to ensuring that all clients visiting
India and utilising Compass services are satisfied. Sadly, my journey had
to end. It just seemed to me that it was too soon. On a different note, I
can honestly add that at least
I know that there is someone professional and most importantly FRIENDLY, understanding
and Totally Committed, who will be planning my next visit to INDIA.
